It all began in the early 2000’s working in boutique retail management. Michael made the jump to the corporate office freelancing for Abercrombie & Fitch as a corporate artist then later full time as a Studio Manager for a fashion studio that produced the Abercrombie Premium label. Combining management experience and his love for Professional Photography Michael joined Zulily.com, a Seattle based company, as their Studio Manager and opened their first satellite studio in Columbus, Ohio. Pushing limits and achieving sales goals the studio grew from one set in a conference room to 20 sets in a 20,000 square foot building. Managing a team consisting of Photographers, Stylists, Copywriters, Photo Editors, and Operations Professionals. The studio scaled to meet the demand of company growth from a start up to a public traded company. Looking to push his career to the next level, he became the Creative Director for Magnanni Shoes in Almansa, Spain and opened a Creative office/studio in Columbus, Ohio. Building their first mobile friendly website, updating photography standards, starting an Amazon store, building an Instagram following, hiring a new staff to scale for new growth were just a few of Michael’s highlights at Magnanni. After Magnanni, Michael was a part of a total rebrand project for Ascena Brands Global Plus Size sector as Director of Creative Services. Overseeing all photographic and marketing operations for Lane Bryant, Catherines, Cacique, and Livi Active. International Photoshoots to Ecommerce Photography shot locally. Building studios and integrating technologies such as Looklet, Capture One, Creative Drive , etc… are a few responsibilities earned. Michael’s work carries on currently as owner of Rausch.work and Vice President of Goodtimes Construction specializing in Creation of Bicycle parks and public spaces. Commercial equipment installation for retailers and restaurants. Commercial and Residential Renovation are other areas of expertise. Let’s create something together!
